Rhanna was the first puppy that my daughter Fiona had delivered herself and after rushing to Fiona's house from the office to be met with Fiona holding the precious little bundle, I knew that she would not be going anywhere. She was born breech, and was, and indeed still is very special to us. Rhanna is a dobermann that we will never forget. She was a joy to live with.
Rhanna decided for herself very early in her career that she did not like showing, but by then she was part of the family and was going no where! All our dogs are pets first and even if they don't like showing, they still stay with us at Gylemuir Kennels for life. From cradle to grave that's our Moto here.
Rhanna attended Darcregan Dog Training run by the very experienced dog trainer Yvonne Walker. Rhanna enjoyed her Wednesday nights out and gained her Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze & Silver awards. We were over the moon when she passed her Silver. Some achievement for our little girl who was naturally very shy!
Rhanna gave us a fantastic litter in February 2004. Rhanna enjoyed nothing more than chasing the birds in the fields and cuddling up on the settee at night watching TV. She accompanyed us on our long trips down south to Championship Shows, her job was to look after the van and she certainly did that well, right up till the day we said goodbye to her.
Sadly on Monday 28th September, we had to say goodbye to our gorgeous little Rhanna, she was so special to us all. She fought her illness for 6 months but sadly DCM won! She went peacefully at the vets, Rhanna was always such a quiet little thing and never once caused us a minutes bother.
Play with your mummy Brora and your big brother Broghan over Rainbow Bridge and remember little girl you chase all the rabbits and birds you want. RIP Our Darling Little Rhanna. We all miss you so much. There is not a day that goes by that we don't think about you, your mummy and your big brother Broghan.
Love you Rhan Forever. R.I.P. Now.
